This Privacy Policy explains how Capes Jean-marie (“I”, “me”, “my”, or “Yoolk”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit https://yoolk.ninja (the “Site”), browse the portfolio, create an account, or place an order in the store. I run this Site as a private individual, not as a business.

I am committed to processing your data lawfully and transparently, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Loi Informatique et Libertés.

2. What data I collect, and why

I only collect the data needed to run the Site and fulfil orders. I do not sell your data, I do not display advertising, and I do not run third-party analytics or tracking.

I do not knowingly collect special-category data (health, political opinions, etc.) and ask you not to send any through the contact form.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by PayPal. I never receive or store your full card or bank details — that information goes directly to PayPal, which acts as an independent data controller for the payment.

When you pay, I receive only confirmation of the transaction and the information needed to fulfil the order (name, address, amount, order reference). PayPal’s own handling of your data is governed by its privacy statement: https://www.paypal.com/privacy

4. Shipping

Orders are shipped via La Poste – Colissimo (delivery against signature, France and international). To deliver your parcel, I share your name and shipping address with La Poste. La Poste processes this data as part of the carriage contract; see https://www.laposte.fr (privacy section).

For international orders, customs authorities in the destination country may also process shipping data where required by law.

5. Cookies and tracking

The Site is designed to run without analytics or marketing cookies. The only cookies used are the strictly necessary / functional cookies set by WordPress and WooCommerce, for example:

• keeping your shopping cart and session;
• keeping you logged in to your account;
• remembering your cookie/notice preferences;
• (if you comment) remembering your name and email for the comment form.

These cookies are essential for the Site to work and do not require consent. I do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party tracking, profiling, or advertising cookies. Because only strictly necessary cookies are used, no cookie-consent pop-up is legally required.

6. Who has access to your data (recipients)

Your data may be shared only with the following, strictly to provide the service:

• PayPal — payment processing.
• La Poste / Colissimo — delivery.
• My web host / server provider — OVH, which stores the Site and its database – OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix (France).
• Public authorities — only where required by law (e.g. tax, customs, court order).

I do not transfer your data to any other third party for commercial purposes.

7. International transfers

The Site and database are hosted in the EU. Some providers (e.g. PayPal) may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on legal transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. How long I keep your data

• Account data: kept while your account is active; deleted on your request, or after 3 years of inactivity.
• Order and transaction data: kept for a reasonable period in case of a dispute or claim (e.g. relating to delivery or hidden defects), typically 5 years, then deleted.
• Contact messages: kept for as long as needed to handle the exchange, then deleted within 12 months.
• Server logs: kept for a short period for security.

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and keeping WordPress, WooCommerce, and plugins up to date. No system is perfectly secure, but I work to keep your data safe.
