Raïka Vol#1 (1988)

In the 3rd century, the three Chinese provinces of Gui, Go and Sichman engaged in a fierce battle to seize power. Meanwhile, on an archipelago called Yamato (present-day Japan), Raïka, the boy wearing lightning and his two companions save young Iyo from the aggression of Kijinokiko, leader of the Yamatai armies. The young Iyo is none other than the future heiress to the reign of the old priestess Himiko, leader of all the territories of Yama. Choseï, a traitor working for the Wei Empire, tries to take hegemony of the archipelago by seeking to eliminate Himiko and Iyo, but the latter will flee the kingdom thanks to the help of Raika when a rebellion against Choseï breaks out.

Au 3e siècle, les trois provinces chinoises Gui, Go et Sichman se livrent une féroce bataille pour s’emparer du pouvoir. Pendant ce temps, sur un archipel nommé Yamato (Japon actuel), Raïka, le garçon coiffé par la foudre et ses deux compagnons sauvent la jeune Iyo de l’agression de Kijinokiko, chef des armées du Yamatai. La jeune Iyo n’est autre que la future héritière au règne de la vieille prêtresse Himiko, cheftaine de tous les territoires du Yama. Choseï un traître travaillant pour l’Empire Wei tente de prendre l’hégémonie de l’archipel en cherchant à éliminer Himiko et Iyo, mais cette dernière va fuir le royaume grâce à l’aide de Raïka au moment où éclate une rébellion contre Choseï.
